APEC 8/2: Electrostatic Levitation, 3I/ATLAS & Propellantless Propulsion
Al Baur will be showcasing experimental advances in electrostatic levitation, John Brandenburg will be discussing The Physics of Time and An Examination of 3I/ATLAS, Matthew Szydagis will be providing an overview of his upcoming course, “Physics of Exotic Propulsion for Interstellar Space Travel”, and Charles Buhler will discuss “Exodus and the Third Order”. We’ll also be hearing updates from our lab partners and finishing off the event with an open discussion by conference attendees!
12:00pm PT – Al Baur – Advances in Electrostatic Levitation
Al will be presenting the results of experimental work using variations on a double tube design for an electrostatic levitator. Baur’s work is unique in that he is actually making electrostatic levitation devices maintain a specific height and travel along a path in between upper & lower rails in an electrostatic / ion-wind circuit.
1:00pm PT – John Brandenburg – The Physics of Time and An Examination of 3I/ATLAS
John Brandenburg will be providing analysis and insights into his research on the physics of time, and will also discuss the anomalous 3I/ATLAS Interstellar Object. This IO has been characterized as an exocomet, surrounded by a reflective coma, but there are several interesting & unique characteristics to it that have led some scientists to speculate that it may be an extraterrestrial craft, or perhaps a natural object with a unique composition.
2:00pm PT – Matthew Szydagis – The Physics of Exotic Propulsion for Interstellar Space Travel
If ET visitations are possible, then how would aliens get here? Dr. Matthew Szydagis will be discussing selections from his upcoming lecture course through the Society of UAP Studies on propulsion using conventional Newtonian physics, the Special Relativity and the constraints it places on the speed of light, and how General Relativity handles gravity and acceleration, with a focus upon how this broader theory may allow for faster-than-light navigation of the cosmos.
3:00pm PT – Charles Buhler – Exodus and the Third Order
Charles Buhler discusses a new quantum physics model that explains propellantless propulsion in asymmetrical field-effect thrusters. His team has built and patented a new type of propulsion device currently producing over 1 Earth Gravity of force, using no propellant, and careful testing in hard-vacuum indicates that the force generated isn’t based on known effects such as ion-wind or conventional electrostatic forces. His partner, Andrew Aurigema from Exodus, presents experimental updates regularly at APEC – in this presentation, Buhler will provide theory to support Drew’s remarkable experimental results. (this is a pre-recorded presentation)
4:00pm PT – Lab Partners – Experimental Research Updates
Learn about hands-on engineering & technical research on advanced propulsion experiments by our lab partners. Mark Sokol will provide updates on Dynamic Nuclear Polarization research & testing; Drew Aurigema will provide updates on his electrostatic propulsion device, and Curtis Horn describes the latest research for Dr. James Woodward’s MEGA-Drive team.
5:00pm PT – Open Discussion & Ad-Hoc Presentations
Conference guests interested in presenting experimental info to the group are invited to participate at this time, and our presenters will be available to take questions & discuss experiments.
